We are currently looking for support and local landowners to partner with the trail project to create routes that are:
safe
beautiful
convenient
The proposed trail will connect to key amenities like the Denison Aquatic Center, Denison Community Schools, and the Wheels to Heels Trail. Our goal is to connect Denison to the larger Iowa trail system by extending to the Sauk Rail Trail near the city of Lake View. The exact route the trail takes is dependent on the availability of property and the voluntary participation of local landowners.

Trail options are chosen to minimize the potential impact on private property owners. The routes follow public land, existing rights-of-way, property lines, and creeks or tree lines as much as possible.
